The walk standard

What happens during an hour-long walk

A good walk is more than out the door and back. Here's how each one actually goes, step by step.

  1. Arrival at the agreed time

The sitter arrives at the time on your schedule. If they're running late, you hear it from them — not from an empty bowl.

  2. Route and walk time

The sitter starts the tracker at the beginning — you'll see the route and its length afterwards on the map in the report.

  3. A pace set by the dog, not the sitter

A young, energetic dog gets movement and play; a calm or older one gets a steady pace. There's always time to sniff the world — for a dog, that's half the walk.

  4. Back home

Wiping paws, fresh water, food in the bowl — everything you set out in the booking instructions.

  5. Report

The route, photos and a description of how the walk went — after the walk, without you having to ask.

Trial walk — a meet-and-greet for 28 zł

When you book dog walking, you can start with a trial walk for 28 zł instead of the full price. Your dog calmly gets used to the person, you see how they got on, and you read the first report. If it's not a fit, we'll match you with another sitter — you don't lose your schedule.

Everything's included: the sitter's travel, the walk, the GPS route and the photo report. We'll feed your dog and wipe its paws at no extra charge.
You see the price before booking — no hidden charges.
Example: 3 walks of 30 min a week — 165 zł.

Comment: Rena was pulling for the door from the doorstep — great mood right from the morning. In the park she calmly sniffed her favorite bushes, chased another dog for a moment and came back nicely when called. The rain didn't bother her. She did all her business; back home I wiped her paws and poured fresh water — she had a drink and settled down happily to sleep.
Regular walks

The same person, not a new stranger every Tuesday

Regular walks only work when the dog knows the person coming for it. We assign you a sitter and keep to your schedule. If the sitter falls ill, we find the replacement — not you from your desk: that's part of Alvis Protect.

Your own sitter

The dog gets used to the person, and the person to its habits and its route.

A schedule instead of messaging

No need to arrange it all over again each time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 13:00 means 13:00.

Plan B in advance

We find the replacement: we reach out to sitters in your district and keep you posted.

«Alvis never once let us down — there was always someone there.»

Zenek’s regular caregivers are simply wonderful and irreplaceable. The reports always arrive at the agreed time — punctually, with photos of a smiling Zenek. We really value that.

We have used Alvis for two years now. I like that it is safe — when we book a date and it is confirmed, we can count on care for our dog. That was not always the case elsewhere.

I know it is not easy to hand your pet over to someone. But after long research, watching the profile and reading other clients’ reviews, I decided — and honestly, it was a bullseye.

“Our dog is one of a kind” — that's true of most dogs we walk

Most of the dogs we walk are “awkward” in some way. That's the norm, not the exception.

A puppy on a short walk
Puppy

With a puppy — gently

Short walks, a calm pace, no strain on growing joints. The sitter lets the little one explore the world at its own pace.

A senior dog on a calm walk
Senior dog

With a senior — with care

A steady pace, frequent pauses, attention to breathing and joints. You note medications and health in the booking — and that's binding on the sitter.

A difficult temperament

With a tricky one — with know-how

Pulls on the leash, afraid of men, reacts to other dogs? We'll match you with a sitter who has that experience, and the first walk is a calm meet-and-greet for 28 zł.

How to book

From booking to a regular sitter — six steps

The whole booking is in the Alvis app. No forms on the website — city, district and hours, then you pick your sitter.

  1. Your dog's details

Breed, temperament, district and hours. Three minutes in the app, no strings attached.

  2. Your schedule

One-off or fixed days and times — for example Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 13:00.

  3. Meet-and-greet and access

You meet on the first walk. You decide the access method: a key, or the dog handed over at the door.

  4. A regular sitter

You hit it off — we pin the same person to your schedule.

  5. Keeping tabs on the walk

The sitter starts the tracker before setting off. After the walk, the GPS route and photo report go straight to your phone.

  6. A replacement if needed

If the sitter can't make it, we arrange a backup. You organize nothing.
